Free Website for Those in Need, Now Available

DM-Creative.com web-based creative ad agency service provides free business website to those in need.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 14, 2011 – Marketing Department today announced that the company is providing a free website for those who need a way to increase the family income.

"This economy is brutal,” says Alexandria Marx, founder of Marketing Department. “When we first looked for a way to help our clients, we considered reducing fees. That didn’t seem enough.”

Mom, dad or both have lost their job and getting a new job doesn’t seem to be happening. The unemployment rate in the United States was last reported at 9 percent in January of 2011. From 1948 until 2010 the United States' Unemployment Rate averaged 5.70 percent.

It’s not just young families who are affected. According to the National Council on Aging, millions of older adults who need to work in order to make ends meet continue to be frustrated by high rates of unemployment. Joblessness among seniors aged 65 and older has nearly doubled since the recession began. At 6.2%, senior unemployment still hovers close to its historic high, according to figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
 
Senior citizens cut from a job they thought they’d have until they retired, face spending down their savings to pay everyday bills. The NCOA reports that this undermines their long-term financial stability and security, especially if they become too ill or disabled to work, and underscores the fact that they have less time than younger people to replenish lost wages and savings.

It’s disgraceful, and Marketing Department wants to help. The company will provide web design, help with copywriting, free coaching and a free year of web hosting with unlimited email.

“ I believe that the best solution is to help people make money, rather than offer a small savings by reducing fees. Many out-of-work people can probably come up with a product they can sell or services they can provide. A website would help and that’s a small contribution we can make. America is the home of the brave, but it’s Americans who make it a home and work from home in their own business.”

According to Entrepreneur magazine, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that there are now more than 18.3 million home businesses in the United States, which generate $427 billion each year. That’s bigger than General Motors, Ford and Chrysler put together.

This offer of help isn’t new for Ms. Marx. Marx authored a book in 1996 titled, How to Write a Money-Making Marketing Plan, The Road To Money — Key to Survival For Many. (ISBN 0-9652820-1-5)

Marx was inspired to write the book for three reasons: First, there were a lot of people in America who need money but don’t know how to make it; second, many can provide a service, but don’t know how to market it; and third, many people didn’t know how to find customers and end up guessing at what they were supposed to do.

President John F. Kennedy in his Inaugural Address delivered January 20, 1961 said, “Ask not what America will do for you, but what we can do together.”
