What are Resell Rights?
There are basically 3 kinds of rights other than a copyright, which is sacred.
1. Private Label Rights... the most flexible of all rights and therefore most valuable. You can do nearly anything with these products including renaming, branding and selling as your own, editing, and bundling with other products in a package. You can also give them away, and you can sell or giveaway rights for others to resell, master resell, or private label.
In addition to your Private Label Rights, you generally get the source files, so that you can easily rewrite, edit, and put your own name on the product, which means you get:
- Word document that you can modify, change the text, add your name
- images (including PSD files)
- sales letter web page copy
- HTML web page with CSS
- thank you page
- robots file
Master Resell Rights... the most common of rights for sale online... you cannot change the product in any way and you cannot giveaway the product itself except in memberships and as part of promotions. YOU can resell the product PLUS you have the right to resell the “resell rights” to others, which allows your buyers to resell the product along with the “resell rights.”
Resell Rights... these rights give you the authorization to resell the product. You can only resell the product you receive with your purchase "as is." You cannot change it in any way and you cannot giveaway, sell it for less than the suggested advertised retail price, or sell the resell rights.
These are "rights" you acquire... but also "rights" you attach to information products YOU sell to make even more money. Many people who offer products with master resell rights do not get an ecommerce site. Instead, they opt for the lessor investment of a HTML site and post a squeeze page or web page sales letter landing page on the site.
3. Affiliate Marketing
