When you start a new business online, you want to look ahead… do a little planning. So for this lesson, set your objectives. It can be a short lesson, but for those who really put in the time and thought to create a picture of what they want - not just now - but a year from now... well, then it can take 3 or 4 hours to consider and document your goals.
Your goal setting is a picture — not necessarily a sales forecast. “See” your business the way you expect it to be — in a year — after you have done the work to set it up correctly. Once you see it in your mind… write it down.
Writing down your goals is an important part of the success process. Open the attached worksheet, describe your business a year from now. How are sales? How many new contacts do you have who joined your mailing list? How many visitors does you website get every day? How much are your monthly sales? What’s your net income? See it the way you envision it and write it down.
