How to Start a Business on the Internet: Lesson 10
Before we get started with the process of setting up a business online, here are the common steps to creating your business entity offline. Check with your city, county and state for specific requirements. Some include a link where you can find additional information.
How to Launch Your Web Business
What Not to Do! Many new startup entrepreneurs fling money at their new business without any thought as to what needs priority and when. Soon the available money is gone and credit cards are max’d out.
NOW is the time to run through EVERY LINK, on EVERY PAGE on your site. You need to be SURE that when your visitors click on a link, they’re taken to the place YOU want them to go. Obviously, you need to make sure your order links work.
Get a friend, who’s not been involved in the process to go through the whole process and tell you how easy…or hard…it was for them to navigate your site. This will give you a “visitor’s view” of the entire process. Does it seem simple, or will they get lost in the process?
Get someone else to go through the process and actually BUY your product to see if you end up with the money or the credit for the sale. Sign up for your own mailing list to make sure it works. Opt in to your squeeze page.
Check EVERYTHING! If it doesn’t work right…now’s the time to fix it. All you’re doing here is trying to avoid costly mistakes. NOW…you’re ready to take your foot off the brake and put the pedal to the metal!
How to Twitter.
Many of our clients ask if social sites such as Twitter have any real value for a business to use for marketing. With millions Tweeting, the answer seems obvious. Here a little report on how to use Twitter for your business. Download it.
No Touch Strategy
The object here to is take the time to setup your business sales materials: i.e. web pages and files - so that you do not have to do anything more “hands on” – the business generates income without any further ‘touch’ by you. This is part of the entire process to unlimited income. Once setup, “It does NOT take up any more of YOUR time.”
This “No Touch” strategy is the key to unlimited wealth on the Internet. It is the reason why you want to take all the time you need to setup the website's “product income stream” with great care in the beginning (so you don’t have to touch it again). Take time to make your products unique in the beginning… and your “no touch” strategy pays and pays and pays… every day thereafter.
